Health Recruitment Plus

Health Recruitment Plus hosted another professional development workshop for Practice Managers from 18 to 19 May 2011. The workshop was held at the Tamar Valley Resort, Tasmania.

This was the third year that Danny had been invited as a guest speaker for this workshop and again shared the guest speaking role with Gary Smith, arguably the guru of Practice Management in Australia.  Kath Hinde (Health recruitment Plus) organised an excellent program for the 40 practice managers attending who benefited from the Gary and Danny’s collective knowledge and experience.

Danny’s first presentation on ‘Delegation – The How, What and Why’ followed Gary Smith’s introduction to Leadership. The session provided practical strategies for delegation as one of the important tools of leadership.

The second presentation was on ‘Integrated Services’, providing a guide for practice managers on how to develop integrated services within their practices, and the different models for engaging other providers to work collaboratively within the practice team.
